Cosy Cubs - Baby and tots group

We begin the session with a singing circle where parents and their little ones join in with cheerful melodies. Afterwards, everyone is free to enjoy a range of engaging activities designed to stimulate young minds and encourage creativity. From rice tuff trays to exciting storytelling corners, there is something for every curious cub. A healthy snack and drinks are provided.

Tupton Foodbank
Tuesdays 10-12 @ Tupton Community Hub

Tupton Foodbank, provides emergency food parcels and compassionate support to individuals and families facing crisis. We understand that anyone can experience unexpected hardship and our aim is to ensure nobody in our community goes without essential food and household items. Alongside emergency food provision, we offer a warm, welcoming environment where people can access practical advice, signposting and additional support to help them move towards a more stable future.

Our youth provision is all about giving young people a safe, welcoming place where they can belong, build confidence and reach their full potential. We provide engaging sessions for children and young people aged 8+, offering everything from sports, gaming, cooking and creative activities to life skills, outdoor adventures, volunteering opportunities and accredited learning. Every session includes a free hot meal, trusted adult support and opportunities to make new friends in a positive environment. We work closely with families, schools and local partners to ensure every young person feels valued, listened to and empowered to thrive. Whether they need somewhere to relax after school, develop new skills or simply have fun, CDC Group is here to inspire, support and create opportunities that make a lasting difference.
Wraparound Care
CDC Wraparound Care is a new, innovative service designed to make life easier for busy families while providing children with a safe, welcoming and enriching environment outside of the school day. Operating from our CDC Cosy Hub on Tuesdays and Thursdays during term time, our pilot programme offers a unique home-to-school and school-to-home experience. Children are collected by the CDC minibus, enjoy healthy meals, engaging activities and homework support at our hub, before being transported safely to and from school. More than just childcare, CDC Wraparound Care gives children the opportunity to build friendships, develop confidence and start and finish each school day in a positive, supportive environment led by our experienced team.

Food Provisions
Duckbrook Pantry Thursdays 10-12 and 1-4. The last thursday of the month 10-1 and 3-6 @ Poolsbrook Social Welfare Club, S43 3LP

Duckbrook Community Pantry provides affordable access to good quality food and everyday essentials for individuals and families experiencing financial pressure. Our aim is to help stretch household budgets while offering a welcoming space where people can access additional advice, support and signposting when needed.
​
Membership costs £8 per year, with weekly shopping available from £5 or £10, depending on the size of shop required. Our pantry operates on a point colour based system, allowing members to choose the food that best suits their household, reducing waste and promoting dignity and independence.

More than just a food service, our pantry is a community resource, helping local people build resilience, access support services and move towards greater financial stability.
Holiday Activity and Food Programme
​The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) Programme at CDC Group provides exciting, enriching school holiday experiences for children and young people who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals. Our sessions combine fun activities, trips, sports, creative workshops and life skills with healthy, nutritious meals in a safe and supportive environment. We believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, make friends and create lasting memories during the school holidays, regardless of their circumstances.
Next Level Club
Last Saturday of the month - All day. Ages 12-18

Next Level Club is CDC Group's inclusive alternative education and personal development programme, designed to support children and young people who need a different approach to learning. Through small group sessions, hands-on activities and tailored support, we help young people build confidence, develop life skills and re-engage with education in a safe, nurturing environment. From outdoor learning and practical projects to wellbeing, teamwork and accredited learning opportunities, our focus is on unlocking potential and helping every young person take their next step towards success.
